I acknowledge that life is a struggle but that there are always moments that we can choose to use to our betterment. In my sessions I try to touch upon the difficult questions in life with positivity, humour and insight.
My own interest in personal and professional development informs my practice to be pragmatic, flexible and engaging to ensure that each individual’s mental health journey is enjoyable and rewarding.
I look for client’s who walk in open minded and motivated to change. I am passionate about talking with people from a diversity of backgrounds, a multitude of interests and goals. Each new person you talk to gives you the opportunity to see the world in a new way.
I have worked within the mental health field since 2010, across a wide variety of roles, sectors and organisations including: Disability Employment Services, Work Cover, Comcare, I-Care, Life Insurance, Government, Corporate, Non-Profit, Health, Private Practice and Defence.
I have continued to develop my clinical and professional skills having completed yearly ongoing professional and personal development alongside the completion of: Bachelor of Psychology (Honours), Diploma of Professional Psychology and Master of Coaching Psychology.
Outside of sessions I enjoy: traveling with enthusiasm, seeking out new conversations that spark my curiosity, obsessing over football, sitting in a sunny spot, drinking a strong coffee and thinking about how utterly amazing it is that we all exist.
I’d love to sit down and have a chat sometime.
